I created a series of weekly installations, using projected animation, live performance, mirrors, peppers ghosts and other visuals created in a small closet. Each week I created new animated content, a new installation set up, and a new performance. The project was visible live, in weekly installments, for 17 weeks and filmed each week and then edited together into a film. All images and video below are taken directly from the camera with no post effects. Still frames of the video were also displayed in a gallery setting after the performances finished.

Loosely based on the opera Iolanta, this project explores how we find what is luminous in the dark, how we allow parts of ourselves to be visible and invisible, and how we reclaim our body in the face of trauma, pain and the impairment of mobility.
